We are using this medium to inform the members of the general public and most especially all the aspirants of Futo, that the Supplementary admission list into the Federal University of Technology, (FUTO), Owerri, for the2012/2013 academic session has just been released! FUTO supplementary admission list was released today, 12th, November 2012 and it is avialable online and can be access on Futo official portal.
The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) supplementary admission list released has been earlier pasted on the Institution notice board, the list contain names of students who applied for, and merited admission through supplementary and also for students whose names were not among the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) first batch but merited admission into their chosen courses.

How to check FUTO 2012/2013 Supplementary admission List Online
For those who are still asking, is it true that futo 2012/2013 supplementary admission list is out?
Please note that it is out, and it is avialable on the school notice board as well as the school official portal, if you are far away from Imo state, you can access the Futo Supplementary list online.
Follow the steps below.
Step 1. Goto to Futo admission checking portal by clicking here==>Â admission.futo.imoconnect.comÂ (copy the bold line and paste it on your browser. i.e. Admission.futo.imoconnect.com)
Step 2. When the webpage loads up, Click on the â€œAdmission offerâ€ tab and then enter your registration number and press the â€œOKâ€ button.
Step 3. After pressing the â€œOKâ€ button Your admission status will be made avialable to you. You will be shown your status whether admitted or not admitted.
All the successfully Admitted students are required to print-out their provisional admission notification, and then get their JAMB Admission Letter.
*Important Notice* Please take note that registration into Futo for new students is currently ongoing.
STEP â€“ BY â€“ STEP PROCEDURE/PORTAL GUIDELINES FOR
On accessing their admission status from the University website, fresh studentsâ€™ registration begins as follows:
1.Â Â Â Â Â Â Print JAMB and University Admission letters;
2.Â Â Â Â Â Â Proceed to the First City Monument Bank (FCMB) for the payment of twenty five thousand naira (N25,000) Acceptance Fee and thereafter to the Student Accounts Unit of the Bursary to exchange the bank teller with the University official receipt;
3.Â Â Â Â Â Â Obtain Confirmation of Admission Letter from the University Admissions Officer;
4.Â Â Â Â Â Â Collect two copies of Validity Form (Forms 18 & 19) from the Admissions Unit on presentation of Acceptance Fee receipt, Confirmation of Admissions Letter, and/or JAMB Admission Letter;
5.Â Â Â Â Â Â Proceed to their departments for clearance on presentation of original copies of their entry credentials and Acceptance Fee receipt. Thereafter, qualified students are issued with a Clearance FormÂ (Form 6)Â duly signed and stamped by the HOD. Candidates whose Form 6 is not approved but are desirous of sourcing for an alternative programme of study should proceed to the Admissions Unit for change of department, after the payment of N5,000.00 to the Bursary. The candidates who are offered alternative programmes of study should then proceed to the new department to continue the clearance process.Â Such candidates are advised not to pay any other fee until they are cleared in the new department. Note that candidates who are not registrable in any department will forfeit their admission;
6.Â Â Â Â Â Â Collect username and password from your department;
Please note that only the Successful candidates who have been satisfactorily cleared by the Departments are required to proceed to the University portal for their school fees and accommodation payment processes;
7.Â Â Â Â Â Â Go toÂ www.futo.edu.ngÂ and click on FUTO portal;
8.Â Â Â Â Â Â Log into the eduportal with your username and password. Click on fees menu and then click on the Print Invoice buttonÂ to generate your school fees invoice. Remember to change your password on first log-in;

All students offered provisional admission into the University, on acceptance, should proceed to First City Monument bank and pay a non refundable acceptance fee using the Bank teller.

c)Â Â Â Accommodation Fee(bank teller):
All students offered accommodation should pay the accommodation fee at FUTO Micro Finance Bank into Account No. 01-1557.
i.Â Â Â Â Â Â Â AccommodationÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â -Â Â Â Â Â Â Â N8,000.00
9.Â Â Â Â Â Â Go to the FCMB bank with your printed invoice and fill the bank teller accordingly. On payment of school fees,Â you will be issued with an E-tranzact slip containing your name, pin number and receipt number.Â YoumustÂ not lose your E-tranzact slip;
10.Â Â Â Â Go back to the FUTO Portal and login with your username and password;
11.Â Â Â Â After logging in, look at the left side panel and click on the â€œFeesâ€ menu;
12.Â Â Â Â On the Fees page, scroll down and click on the â€œPAY FEESâ€ button;
13.Â Â Â Â By default,Â e-tranzact payment optionÂ is selected, click on the â€œCONTINUEâ€ button;
14.Â Â Â Â Enter your Confirmation Number and Receipt Number and click on the â€œSUBMITâ€ button;
15.Â Â Â Â Afterwards, you will be notified if your transaction was successful or not;
16.Â Â Â Â Return to the Fees page by clicking on the â€œFEESâ€ menu on the left side panel;
17.Â Â Â Â Scroll down and click on the â€œPRINT RECEIPTâ€ button to generate your school fees receipt;
18.Â Â Â Â Proceed to the FUTO Health Services for registration/examination. If successful, you will be issued with a Clearance;
19.Â Â Â Â Proceed to the FUTO Library for registration and you will be issued with a Library card;
20.Â Â Â Â Proceed to the Admissions Unit for registration/collection of Green File with originals and photocopies of the following documents:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Clearance Form (Form 6);
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Original and photocopies of WAEC/NECO Certificate or Statement of Result duly signed and stamped by the School Principal;
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Original and photocopies of OND/HND Certificate for Direct Entry students;
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Original and photocopies of Spread-Sheet of School Certificate Result duly signed and stamped by the School Principal;
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Original and photocopies of JAMB and Post-JAMB result slips;
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â JAMB and FUTO Admission Letters;
- Â Â Â Â University official receipts for Acceptance Fee, Medical Clearance, Library Clearance, e-transact slip and School fees Â Â Receipt;
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Original and photocopies of Birth Certificate or Statutory Declaration of Age;
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Letter of Identification from Local Government Area of Origin, and Confirmation of Admission Letter; and
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Undertaking Form duly processed for stamp-duty at the Sub-Treasury.
21.Â Â Â Â Sign the Freshmen Registration Data Form (Form 11) on completion of registration;
22.Â Â Â Â Thereafter the Admissions Unit will forward a list of freshmen who have successfully completed their registration and duly signed Form 11, in batches to the Director, ICT Centre, who will assign a matriculation/registration number to each student and forward the batch list to the relevant Heads of Department for issuance to the students; and
23.Â Â Â Â Finally each bona-fide student will on receipt of his/her registration number, complete an ID card application form and submit same to the HOD for onward processing to the ICT Centre.
